After 4 hospital births (2 of which were traumatic) and one decent birth center birth we decided to go with a home birth for our 6th baby. From the moment we switched to midwifery care, everything was so much more personalized and caring than any other experience we had. Fast forward to our labor; from the moment we called Sarah to inform her of my water breaking she was very supportive. She stood back and observed as I labored in the tub. She stood off to the side and only “interrupted” the natural process to check baby heart tones. Her hands off approach is everything you could ever want in a physiological birth. She made sure to get my consent before assisting me in delivering babies head as he came out turned to the side. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a better midwife to be present for my birth. Sarah was also very supportive of my oldest and youngest child being present for the birth. I highly recommend Sarah to everybody who wants a peaceful and relaxing birth experience with a highly skilled midwife behind them. I cannot thank Sarah enough for her support and gentle nature. Immediately following birth, Sarah stayed to make sure bleeding was controlled, baby was doing perfectly, and that I was stable before she left. If my family chooses to expand, we would only want to have Sarah along with us for that journey.

Sarah is everything you could ask for in a midwife. She's kind, compassionate, and just simply the best. From prenatal visits to home visits, birth to postpartum, Sarah has been a true provider and friend through it all. I loved my home birth with her and would do it all over again as long as she was my midwife. I am in nursing school (to be a CNM) and hope to be half the midwife she is. Sarah is THE jewel in the crown<3

Sarah is very passionate about her work. She cares deeply for the families as a whole, not just the mom. She is kind, patient, and knowledgeable. During my pregnancy and birth, Sarah made me feel comfortable and empowered to make every decision. At one point during labor, there was concern over my son’s heart rate and she protected my peace by trying a new position that my son liked better before making the call to transfer to a hospital. I am for every grateful for the birth experience I dreamed of and Sarah played a pivotal role in that.
